It is hard to believe but the checkered flag falls on the 2009 ASCS Patriot Sprint season after the next 2 events at Sharon and Eriez Speedways.  Brian Howland has his 3rd Championship all but locked up with Jared Zimbardi in second.  The Adamczyk Motorsports team, despite a series of DNF's in the August stretch of the season, find themselves in a comfortable 3rd place.  Highlights in August were a 5th place finish at Stateline and two 6th place finishes at Merritville and Humberstone Speedways. The team ran into some bad luck at Ohsweken and Brockville Speedways where damaged suspension and steering components would force the Pro-Syn Oil Technology/Full Moon Vista Sprinter out of competition.  The team looks forward to the final 2 events as well as competition in the 2009 Canadian Sprint Car Nationals.
